The iPhone 17 is expected to be unveiled in mid-September 2025, during Apple's annual event, and should be available for purchase between September 20 and October 4, according to rumors.

According to the two well-known analysts   Jeff Pu   And   Ming-Chi Kuo , both more than experts when it comes to Apple devices, the next iPhones could get a new model in the catalog provisionally called   iPhone 17 Air .

The name, as you can easily guess, should indicate a   extremely thin device   which, according to rumors, should take the place of the iPhone 17 Plus.

The Plus model, in fact, has always been the "least appreciated" by users or, in any case, the one that records   lower sales volumes   (about 5-10% of the total), which would have convinced Apple to focus on a (perhaps) lite model, which should have a simpler technical sheet and, therefore, also be much less expensive than the other models.
